“We had multiple closing dates that came and went, due to my lending agent's requirements and lack of communication. Right before we ended up closing, Timothy called me on a Saturday night because the closing had been delayed yet again. I had left him a voicemail, in tears, and he must have heard it in my voice. He called me back within 20 minutes so we could discuss next steps forward. He was calling me from his mother's birthday party which was out of state to reassure me we still had some options and how we could proceed. I had no idea he was out of state, let alone at a family gathering.
